My style of copy editing is to thoroughly go through your text, making changes that perfect your manuscript by improving structure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I am keen on removing redundancies and ensuring consistency in your style.

I like to substitute weak words, phrases, and sentences with more meaningful alternatives. This sometimes leads to restructuring sentences for better clarity.

Note: The majority of copy editors do not handle bigger issues such as character development, plot, or structure. A developmental editor is who you would use if you are worried or want feedback on those specific parts of your novel. Copy editing focuses primarily on individual sentences and paragraphs.
